the only drawback we could find to the toro was lifting up the front end for us bigger fellas:cool2:

i decided to get a chunk of steel at 30lbs weight to start off with(it was cheap) and see if it would be nough to eliminate the light front end.

so, got it cut and drilled, painted her up and mounted to the front .

    what do you guys think?

that is not in question, but true. either way, there is not enough counterweight on the fronts after being used to the perfect balance of the wright standers for so many years.

You need to move it over to the right just a smidge!

How much is the weight kit if you bought it from toro? Might steal your idea when we get one this spring.

over $100, and that is for only a 17lb weight, additional $$ for more identical weights to add up to more wieghts

it is off on center? i put it back exactly where the previous marks were, as the front engine protecive sheild brackets are what hold it on, just like the factory one. it is centered but the camera angle is not straight on and is decieving.

It sucks that you have to add weight. Weight is what should be avoided!

    It does look fine tho.

I was just jerking with ya. I know when I've seen the Grandstands the first thing that came to mind was that it looked like there would be a lot of weight out there on the back with the way it was set up.
