Ok little back round on this one guys..

First off the well =4.5 hp with a booster...it needs to pump 40 gpm.
I think the casing =3 inch pvc, all irrigation mains=1 and 1/2 inch with bump downs to 1 and 1/4 and 1 inch. For starters the system was put in wrong..IMHO a large field with a hill should of been zoned completely differently, but i don't dog on other peoples work (like most of this website).
I'm not very good with well lingo so I wont say anymore.

    well on with the pics....

to start the house is going to be extended about 150 feet hindering out the current design. Mind your we have to use 40 gpm minimal. so I cut>capped the inch and a quarter, pulled pipe off last head>ran 4 pgp's with 4 gpm blue nozzles on the borders like it should of been..Granted the pgp's might not last long with this high pressure but it was the necessary fix for the problem @ hand.So please be nice and remind you "BIG DOG" folks to understand that I
1.make no design decisions on this one
    2.done make product decision
    3.make no pipe size decision
4.I sadly shouldn't have to write this out but this place=Pack of wolves

so here goes....Please feel free for positive questions and comments..

    the baby...prob about 100 I-25's here

Why did you not cap the zone at the last head necessary, or at the zone valve? Now you have a big dead line that is impossible to winterize.

I'm very proud of this picture..We put the hill in last year"RIGHT".

    proper pipe sizing> installation>hydroseed>up keep.

I personally sunk easy 40 I-25's on that hill and beyond. This proptery has 3 wells and 1 town water.

Sadly I had to reuse these fittings

    1. im not worried about it
2.its what i was told to do.
    3. on that zone we are pushing the zone as well only 30 GPM's used..
4.its what i was told to do.
5.I think my boss wants to blow the casing..me= not responsible.

Well casing went tits up and caused over $30K (parts cost only) damage to three school sites sharing the well. There's now a very large LAKOS filter and $1500 automatic purge valve on the pump station. :)

    No.

Largest we use on any of our school sites is the Hunter I-40 with #45 nozzle. However, I've installed Toro 835s with 1-1/2" inlets on two different golf courses.
