a sample of some of my work
i like the work, what is under the tiles, pavers as a base?
looks good except for the walkway...
Looks good. Not too sure about the end of that walkway though, the way it splits in patterns like that.
Walkway looks akward. I hope you used poly sand
You make awesome points Platinum...
I have never done pavers or any hardscapes before. But on that walkway i would have kept the path continueing in the center and cut in both sides to keep it looking even.
the vast majority of the flow of traffic on this walkway is coming from the right that is why i kept the split to the left
Honestly, thats no excuse. A proper base will support heavy traffic no prob. The design isn't very smooth, even more so if traffic is coming from the right. If the people came from the left, I could understand you saying that their eyes would follow the line but it really looks off when you do it like that.
P.S. No hard feelings whatsoever, we're all here to learn right? We should be able to RESPECTIVELY pick apart eachothers' work, then have a cold one at the end of the day (just incase my words came off harsh or blunt)
great insights, platinum. and good diplomacy too. two thumbs up.
