Think I finally got it figured out......
These are pics from one of my hairier places we mow.
Slope never looks that bad on film, but the steeper part of the hill is in front of me on the 1st pic. I couldn't even attempt this hill with factory tires on my Z.
2nd pic is going up the bad boy. The right front wheel is almost starting to wheelie. Both pics I am leaning at an angle to show the normal upright angle of "level ground". It's a fun place to mow.

That reminds me of the first couple times I went up a steep hill with a bobcat skidsteer!! I thought I needed toilet paper when I was done. I got used to it and we mess around and do it for fun now!!

I just took some pics yesterday of the way they grow the grapes here in Germany on a mountainside!! I posted them on my site, its unbelieveable I think, go check them out!

    Thanks for sharing!!

Those are not hills. We do stuff like that with one hand tied behind our backs. I'll try to get some pictures posted later in the week of what some real hills are. You would never get a riding machine on these.

I think that is a Bobcat. Someone posted they could mow a 90 degree hill. I'm waiting to see a picture of that. That would be considered a cliff, not a hill.:)

Ill see if i can get some pics,we mow a short but steep hill that is roughly 45-55 degrees with our steiner 4x4.It is so steep that we drive up it and back down it,if we tried to drive down it,the front mount mower would pull the machine to the bottom, and the rear transaxle sometimes sucks air for a second on steep downhills.you lose control of all steering and drive ,its like going into neutral, scary

That was the original intent of the post was to see who has steep hills that they use a ZTR on, or other rider. I think most of us have stuff (myself included) that I can weedeat only, & have trouble even walking up. This was for ridable material, & also I mentioned it's hard to show the true slope on film.
John-my buddy has a 420 4x4 that mows up a slope, then back down here too. That's the ONLY way you could mow the hill he has, at least with a rider.
