Heard a rumor from my dealer that they were designing something like that for the Toro Grandstand. I'm hopin they'll have it for a fair price in several years from now because I would be tempted to buy one. I love standers but no one mulches around here.

Great idea, dont like the idea of using a backpack blower though. Its really noisy and you will wear out a $500 blower quick using it with the same amount of hours that you use your stand on.

I'm sure there could be a "normal" pony motor used. I think the simple aspect of the piggybac vac is that you can choose your own booster.

Great looking setup if you ask me!

I am slightly interested in the product. Do you know the price? I can't say I'd pay more than maybe $800 assuming I have to supply the backpack blower. If it were more than that, I would build it myself.

It would be a solid idea if its less than the ultra vac, the back pack blower has to be cheaper htan like a ultra vac blower!

I don't know if I could do it for quite that cheap. I wouldn't be comfortable using steel for the hopper just due to the weight and aluminum get's pretty pricey.

But whatever the case I think it would be a fun winter project. 4 inch exhaust tubing for the blower adapter and for the 8 inch pipe I could just bend sheet metal around a template and weld it up. I honestly don't see why it would be that difficult. Time consuming, yes, but I'd have fun with it.

Another thing I did not see is are they offering a weight kit to level out the rear end weight? That thing full can get heavy and all stand ons have light front ends.
