pine sap removal

    anybody have any good tips or cleaners that work with getting rid of pine sap? i chipped some pine up and some got all over the truck. i have washed it once and it is still all over. any cleaners that seems to work better?

    You can try WD-40 it will take it off then a regular car wash soap will remove the WD-40. Use anything harsh will strip the wax off your truck.

    theres bug and tar remover from most autostores or even meijer walmart usually works, a degreaser like superclean I think its called works pretty good, it comes in a big purple gallon bottle. Most of the cleaners will probally take the wax off the truck if you have any so youll want to rewax it. Thats actually another way to not have this problem again is to keep a good wax on your truck, last year I parked under a whitepine over night and it was covered all I had to do was wash the truck good and it was clean.

    rubbing alcohol then wash
