Pipehorn 100

    Has anyone used a Pipehorn 100 locater, i'm would like to know how it works for phone and electrical wires.

    ive seen some utility locators use them, very similar to a progressive 501

    I know it is pricey, but the Ditch Witch/Subsite 950 is the best one I have used. The 501 and 521 will take care of the job, but if I have the chance to upgrade or need to replace a locator I am always looking for the best deal I can get on the 950. Sometimes for power line locates I will rent a 950 rather than use the 521 we have.

    Two totaly different applications. If irrigation VALVES are what you are looking for, that 950 or any other line locator is going to leave you in the dust of a good 521 operator. For straight line locations like phone,cable, gas, electric your 950 is in its element.
