pistol grips

    are the pistol grips really all that uncomfortable as everyone says they are i would like to save money by getting them, but then again i don't wanna be in pain either. Also has anyone got any input on gravelys pro steer?

    You'll get all kinds of responses, I'm sure, but I've got pistols on my 48 wb hydro & they don't give me any trouble whatsoever. Demo some mowers with pistols and other control systems to get a feel & go from there.

    please demo pistol grips, I have a scag that has 50 hours on it in 2 years and is sitting now because I cant use it much, be sure before you buy

    If you'd read further you'll realize you can use a 1" spring spacer to reduce the tension on the grip spring and the pistol grips will become soft as butter to use. Buy the pistol grips....... you'll be happy........
