Is there any type of plant or grass that is well suited for erosion control on a very steep bank? (deep wide root system) It is behind a newly installed in-ground pool and is about 10 feet high and at least 45 degrees steep, wouldnt be able to mow it. Or should he just go with a burlap or geo-textile mat and regular grass seed it. Maintaince would need to be done with a string trimmer. I dont think a retaining wall is an option for the client.

    Thanks
