This is being grown in Southeastern MA, USDA zone 6... white flowers about 2 inches in diameter blooming in late April, no leaves yet... Shrub is about 3 ft tall, and 2-3 feet wide..

I would like to know what it is so I can better take care of it... Thanks..

Thanks.. I've since found that it's a Star Magnolia (Magnolia stellata).. Flowers on old wood so prune after flowering in late spring..
