WOndering how many of you sell plants, Direct or simply to your customers ?

we have been doing a ton of business on plants. I get them wholesale, and have been selling them resale.

I'm not sure on how high I can go. Price wise.

does anyone know if there is a limit on mark up ?

People aren't stupid. They tend to shop around. If your plant quality is there you can get a good price for them if your just selling for retail and not installing them. If just marking them from wholesale to retail its around
2x wholesale cost. But if you want to move your plants faster have a sale. Its not good to have your inventory sit for to long because it adds up in utility cost.

Were purchasing wholesale, then selling retail, of corse, if we plant it, its another story.
maybe I'm a little shocked at mark up price. seems just unreal, this is a new area for me.
I guess the lawn mower I purchase for 8,000.00 cost the retailer 3,000.00
