At 8:53 PM in November, I'd say it is to late to plant anything.

    But seriously,

When you plant evergreens this late in the season, you run the risk that you will get a lot of desication over the winter. Evergreens lose moisture and are not 100% dormant over the winter. When you plant them this late, the root ball often does not get good enough contact with the surrounding soil to keep the plant adequately hydrated over the winter.

As long as the weather holds, i will be planting 265 three ft tall leyland cypresses the week after next. I really got my fingers crossed hoping that the weather holds out, that would be a nice job this late in the season! thanks for all the advice guys
