I'm putting in a Weeping Hemlock. Is it better to have the lean of it, towards or away from the direction of the Sun? Or does it not matter?

I would like some opinions on this please.

Hemlocks prefer shade, require moist well drained soil and must not be subject to winds. If you dont have these conditions wont matter which way you face it cause it will be dead within 5 years. Weeping cedar might be a better choice if in full sun.

The sun will start to hit it at about noon, and continue untill about 4:00 pm or so, then be filtered by other trees across the yard from there. I put it with the lean to the South, toward the Sun.
