My new cv730 has a freakin plastic intake manifold.Anyone know whats up with this,my cv20 has an aluminum intake along with an old cv22 parts engine I have .I will investigat and see if the cv22 intake will bolt on looks close.THE main reason i want to ditch the plastic manifold is i want to go with canister style air cleaner and they say it wont work with engines with plastic intakes.
Hoping someone here can give me the scoop on the intakes, would the old 1994 cv22 aluminum intake work on the newcv730??????? thanks LazerZHP

My Tahoe & my Suburban have plastic intake manifolds.

Don't know why you couldn't use it with the heavy duty air filter. Depending on the shape, you might have to get a hose to hook them together.

I installed one on my Tiger Cub, had to make a new intake manifold out of aluminum billet.
