I usually just rent one, but I've been using it enough lately that I thought I might buy one. Anyone have any ideas on what brand and price range I should be looking for?

Call the place you rent from. Around here rental shop sell the equipment after like 2 years of use. And they are still in real good shape.

I just bought a brand new one in may from a place that i usually buy demo saws and blades and stuff from. Its a 2010 wacker/neuson vp1550 aw with the water tank option which is nice if your ever gonna do any asphalt repair. I paid about $1,500.00 Wacker and Weber are the two most popular around here, anything other than those i would do some research before purchasing.:itflag:
