    :help: Hey Guys and Gals,

Please go easy on me, I just joined the site today.
I'm a longtime reader and have enjoyed several entertaining and informative threads.
I need some advice that i don't believe has been addressed in the past in any thread.
Today, while doing my weekly cutting, two of my customers lawns had lines of dead grass in random patterns. Some were steaks that criss(sp.) crossed, circle pattern and patches 6' in diameter of dead grass. The neighbours lawns were not affected and the problem is only on the front lawns -back yards are healthy, thick and very green.
I've already eliminated drout, fert., grubs and mower height as possible causes. Last cut was six days ago.
    Any suggestion???
    Thank you in advance

It sounds like burn from nitrogen and/or weed killer. With the tire tracks, it is just where it was stressed more from it (that is your criss-cross).
