I would like to build 2 pillars that have been knocked down a few yrs ago, there is one left in good condition and I have a pic. They were probably the better part of 100 yrs old when they were around. Would like it to match up as much as possible. Any info would be great! Footings, type of cement to use, type of rock (I think its pretty much stuff I can pull out of the woods, im sure thats what they did back when) whatever else I should know:confused: Im thinking it should be pretty simple. The pillars are a simple design. Thanks for any help-Dave
