Sounds high to me, I got quoted $3800 without tax for a 8" xblade poly not installed and $3700 for the hd.

I paid close to 5 grand for my snoway 29 series (installed) in december 2007. That included downpressure, wireless remote and steele moldboard. Go with the snoway, its a best plow on the market.

3 years ago I was quoted $4,400.00 for a 8' fisher hd installed.

I say those prices are in line with others in our area.

I was able to find a used 8' hd (1 year old) installed for $2,800. Right place at the right time. Dealer also gave me a one year parts and labor warranty too.
