I had a call from a person to plow up their existing hay field, disc it, roll it and fertilize and seed it down with what ever I wanted to take off it. I have a farmer friend that lives about 2 miles away, so I have the access to the large equipment to get it done.

My question is what would you charge to do all that on a 3.5 - 4 acre field? It is not rocky or wet or steep. I don't want to take any hay off it and my buddy said he would after he got all his off.

    Any comments please?

Offer to do it and turn it into a plot of sod that you can cut and sell or use in your own work.
