Is there a set amount of posts you much have to PM people. I have around 30, and every time I try to PM or email someone, I get a message saying I don't have priviledge to do so. ANy ideas?

Go to your user control panel and click Edit Options. Then make sure "enable Private Messaging" is clicked.

After 25 posts you can PM.

there is nothing in my CP that gives me the option to "enable Private Messaging". I have looked thru each tab in the CP and nothing there about PM'ing

Then you didn't look very hard. User CP - Edit Options - it's about halfway down.

I don't know if your CP is different than mine, but there is nothing about PMing anywhere in my CP (even under edit options). I just checked again. The only thing close is something asking about emails, sending and receiving, but nothing whatsoever about PM!

Go to user CP, then to edit. Scroll down to the 5th selection. Another problem could be whoever you are trying to PM has theirs off.
