    Hey Guys,

How are you handling Poa Triviallis? I seeded this fescue lawn last fall and now it has these lime green patches all in the lawn. It seems that it must have been mixed in the seed. HELP!

    Thanks for any replies.

Kill it with round-up before you seed in the fall.

A good start would be to buy certified seed next time, if it did in fcat come in the seed.

Aside from that Poa triv thrives in cool, damp, shady growing sites. This is not at all indicative of what I picture as the conditions in North Carolina.

The problem will be the dry and heat usually does not kill it just makes it go dormant and extremely ugly.

I agree with the roundup and seed or it is gonna be a headache.
