Anybody ever grown hostas from plugs or liners? What kind of success did you get?

    Thanks

    Hostas are idiot proof
Poinsettias, only an idiot would grow them

4" plugs into gallon cans only need a few weeks.

I always bump gallon perennial leftovers into 3 gallon cans...same time frame, more impact on my install jobs. Do most of the canning when sales slow in August and you can pick up deals.
I like a high percentage bark mix for best drainage.
