Mowerman, that down here is known as virginia creeper. It does look just like poison ivy except the extra 2 leaves. I am about as allergic to poison ivy as anyone on LS. I have turned down jobs because of it.

Could be poison oak or even sumac. It all sucks in my book! Virginia Creeper isn't poisonous...but it looks much like what is! :dizzy:

sounds like virginia creeper to me also. Could be poison sumac it has 5 leaves as well, but my money is on the creeper. We have a lot of it here and people think that its poison ivy.

Virginia creeper as far as I know does not cause any problems. If it did I would be the first to get it! :D I have pulled/handled a bunch of it with no problems.
