I see many of the guys around here not running ROPS. I know with some brands it is not included with the mower. Who runs with and without them? I run with mine on because I'm a safety nut. :hammerhead:

I take mine off ASAP. I tried out the fold down one on my Hustler for about 1/2 day before it came off.

Seat belt and ROPS came off before the mower ever saw grass.

I leave it on you never if a big branch or tree will fall on you. You really can't flip a mower over trust me on that one.

Seat belts are stupid what happens if the mower catches on fire , or what if the belt stays stuck how would you get off LOL.

We run rops on all mowers. Insurance purposes. Some larger commercial properties who are really safety conscience requires that they be installed and up.
