Comparing a concrete patio to a paver patio...

How much does the polymeric sand help with a site that is KNOWN to have lots of ants (even with treatment)? After a heavy rain many 1.5" ants hills around.

Would you ever not recommend pavers because of too many ants?
Also does polymeic get topped off once a year like other sand?

Also I have a mole right know that is having a blast and is all over the 3/4 acre yard making it hard to catch, if I had pavers with road base, with that be a mess right now?
    Thanks

No sand should ever need topped off. Never.

I doubt you have just one mole. :). He won't be a problem.

Ants? According to my icpi book from 1999 when i became certified,
It say: Get rid of the food source and they'll leave!
