I paid a guy to put down post emergent on Saturday, and it's raining today(Monday), did I just waste my money? Is the rain going to hurt it from killing most of the weeds?

    Grass:Bermuda
    Weeds:Clover(white) and Dandelions

Do you know what exactly he put down?

Not sure, but two little concentrated bottles that he mixed with water in a spray container.

I would venture to say that you probably did not waste your money...unless he used a herbicide that is not commercial strength. From what I have seen the herbicides used for clover and dandelions tend to impact the plants with 48 hours with a total kill no more than 14. Just my experience in observing this though....

Does it stop working after the rain, is it totally washed out from that point? How much rain can it(herbicide) stand? It appeared to be commercial-wasn't something I could buy.

Rain won't hurt it...clover should be already curled if he used the right stuff. Hope you hired someone licensed.
