Post it note advertising?

    It is not illegal to hang things on mailboxes, only to put stuff in them, without postage.....that is per my Postmaster......

    Also.....I actually decided to go with the POST-IT note idea......

    But I just found out that the area I was planning on targeting has a "No Solicitation" policy.....which the Sheriff's department includes any kind of door hanger/POST-IT type advertising.......

    That sucks.......any ideas about working around this??? I don't want to break the law.....

    Mail it to them. Or get the newspaper to include it for that area. Probably a small price and technically not soliciting just advertising.

    Well that is interesting...you would think the PM would know..............so I guess in my town the postmaster is King.......

    My opinion is also that it is technically not soliciting...

    But apparently the Sheriff thinks differently....

    Maybe I need to look at the law itself....
