What were your first pieces of equipment when you started in the lawn care business?
ryobi electric trimmer and a ryobi push mower.
now we've got a shindaiwa t231, t261, and a toro proline. I'm hoping to be able to buy an exmark wb some time around december.
My first gear since I started up this time was... 21" Snapper ( 89 model ) and my br 420, Kawi trimmer, and Junky push edger.. I bought all new commercial 2 stroke gear, and chumped out on the mower, which BTW cost $20 bucks, and made me about $250 before the motor laid down....

new Scag 48" wb (jumped right in with something big)
new 5x10 trailer
22" Craftsman self propelled
Weed Eater brand trimmer

Legs and arms for walking and pushing around the neighborhood
**All of my original equipment was bought by an old neighbor which I traded out cutting his grass for free since he bought me the equipment. To this day he and his family are still my families best friends and his yard along with my parents yard are the only ones which I cut for nothing. (which I don't have to do anymore but do it anyway)**
John Deere stx38, western auto 18 inch pushmower, homelite trimmer, and an off the wall blower cant remember the name, and I hauled in in the back of an S10 pick up

I can't believe i just told you that.
Craftsman garden tractor, weedeater brand trimmer (also served as push mower), and weedeater brand blower. Trimmer lasted 3 years and still running
2 crapsman 22 inch push mowers.
1 crapsman handheld blower.
1 ryobi trimmer.
1 83 buick lesabre. We worked outta the trunk and back seat.
