Threw the years our number one form of advertising returns has been threw postcards. However we normally do postcards for residential mailing lists and then letters to commercial mailing lists. But this year we are thinking of doing all postcards.

What is your return's on commercial mailing list for postcards? Asking how many estimates do you actually get out of say, 2,500 postcards?

I know every area is different.

we buy the mailing lists from mailing specialists here in town, if you want i can get the number for you, its a toll free number. they can do single dwellings, multi, business etc etc. they do a great job at it to. only have like 5 come back out of all of them, they update like 3 times a month

What is the cost difference doing them yourself, compared to buying in bulk?

as we speak im doing it myself, bought 2000 commercial only addys in my area for 150 dollars

plus postage for postcards its 26 cents each which comes to 520 there --no price break unless you get a 300 dollar bulk mail permit

and i havent made copies of my postcard advertisement yet....prolly another 7 cents each (double sided) but i get 4 cards to a sheet of cardstock so another 70 bucks there (including colored cardstock)

740 buccks wowwwwwww this is gonna be a lotta dough

if anyone checks in with an all in one bulk mailer let me know that that runs for next time! im sure theres ones out there who will print your post card and bulk mail it too to their own addys

i know one bulk mailer does around here for 350 bucks, 2 zones but is to residentials and commercials alike
