We laid centipede down for a customer 4 months ago with a complete irrigation system. Is it to early for a pre-emergent?
    Thanks

You can hit it with a blanket of liquid atrazine 1 oz./K between Now (Oct.1) and before the grass begins to go into dormancy. Atrazine 4L is both a pre-em and a post for broadleafs and should be your main defense against weeds. Hit it again about 15. December with granular Atrazine for winter protection till you get to February 15 when you hit it with 0-0-7 + Dimension. I have a lot of centipede and this schedule works well.
