Anyone get there 2005 pre-emergent prices yet?? Our vendor has a 15% increase!! I know...inflation, urea prices, gas, etc. but that seems excessive. Anyone care to share pre-em pricing or any suggestions on where to buy other than Lesco (we are in PA/NJ)?

If that price is with the increase that means you where paying over $16.00 per bag before, for 30 pallets of product. Wow I think its time to shop around for product.

I have gotten good service and great prices from my prosource one dealer -- check if you have one in your area.

I agree with Hamons...ProSource One has been a pleasant surprise for me. Great service (Free Shipping, Deliveries on M-W-F) and my rep has consistently beaten Lesco's pricing on just about everything. Fertilizer pricing between the two is somewhat competitive, but for "specialty" chemicals, ProSource pricing has absolutely CRUSHED Lesco's. A few quick examples:

I bought a gallon of Talstar this summer to spot treat for Ching Bugs. Lesco gouged me for $245. I could have gotten that from ProSource for $148.75.

A 1.3 oz box of Manage. Lesco's price was $91.00. ProSource One's price was $73.00.

I still have a good relationship with my Lesco Service Center, but business is business, and...
