pre-emergent test question

    had a question that stumped me today.
    what pre-emergent can be applied right after seeding new grass? common and chemical name would be appreciated.

    tupersan won't affect grass seed germination

    Here are the links to our products that contain this active. Control is short lived but very effective in new seeding situations where you are at risk of major crabgrass breakthrough. Other stratagies include letting the annual grasses come in and using a post like Acclaim or Drive. If you use Tupersan follow it up with a second application once the new seed is on it's way. I prefer Dimension [dithiopyr] as the follow up because of the early postemergent activity.
