I found out today that the soil temps here hit 55 already, and I am not finshed with my first round of pre-emergent w/fert. For the lawns I get to in the next week or so, will I still be able to prevent crabgrass from doing its thing, or is it too late? It's awfully early for the soil to be this warm, but we've had a week or so of 60s and up.

Switch to Dimension which has post control on very young CG.

  3. Are your soil temps 55 degrees at the 3" depth, at sunrise, for three consecutive days?

Thats when you better finish applications real quick, and remember granular pre emerge nees to be water in to be effective!
