I need your thoughts on brands, liquid vs granular, etc, opportune time for placement, of pre-emergents for flowerbeds.

    Thank

Ronstar granular w/o fertilizer added. We start putting it out in March. It is expensive but works better than anything we have tried.

I am so glad all of you guys are looking out for me though! Not sure what I would do without you!

Guess it was partly my bad. I forget most on here are talking about residential accounts. I would drop the maintenance part of the business before I did any of those. Tried it early on. Too much a PITA.

Timturf, What do you use in your bed program besides the surflan? Do you back pack or tank spray? Also at what rates are you using to get good control? We do 2 applications a year, and tell the customer they will get about 80% control. What about you?
    Thanks for any info!

I've tried Ronstar, great Goosegrass control. My personal experience not very good on Crab or Foxtail.

We use snapshot with good results. We put it down in march right before we remulch the beds.
