In the market for a new Z. What are you guys seeing for pricing on Toro and Exmark Z's. Looking at the 28hp EFI and 27 HP Kohler. Best I've seen is 10,499.00 for the EFI and 8,699.00 for the 27hp. Am I paying too much? Thanks in advance.

Each area is different, but those prices are high for me.
    I'm asuming a 60" deck?

I posted earlier today on TORO Z580's. Search and find the post. This is in Jersey.

Also one other question, Is the EFI worth the extra money?

The prices you've quoted sound like list price...........

We just bought a lazer XS (which is priced pretty closely to the 28 efi) for quite a bit less than what you've stated.

The EFI is a great motor on a 72" deck but I'm not sure you need it with a 60"

The 28 efi did better than a 29 horse diesel that we demoed.

The only thing about the EFI is added horse power, and gas savings, at least in my book. Toro states about 30 to 40 % savings in fuel. If we fill up three times a week = 36 gallons at a savings of 10.8 gallons. Times 27 weeks of mowing = 291.6 gallons for the year. Fuel is 2.00 per gallon which = a yearly savings in fuel of $583.20. But anyway what about the actual prices and how do I get my dealer to come down? Thanks

Take at least a thousand off of the efi price.
    I've got to go.........
I don't like posting actual pricing and you don't have pm access yet.
