Need some help on giving a price on a commercial property. Here are the details.

    16900 Sq. ft mow
    1382 ft. edging
Very little trimming about 15 min.
blow hard surfaces about 15 min.
    all flat
    no bagging
    mow once per week
    12 month contract
mulch and scrub trimming priced when needed.

    What do you think? Thanks

Without seeing the property and by what you said, $40-50 per cut.

    any trees, obstacles?

    130' x 130' = 16900 sqft. + edging, trimming, & blowing.

    commercial...I dunno...$80 - 100 per. - guessing without seeing it.

The $40-50 per cut might be a touch high. Kind of depends on competition and the area. Good luck.

    high? I was thinking low! that's 43 yards x 43 yards
plus trimming, edging blowing, cleaning it up nice - probably want to stripe it being a commercial prop. if he's solo - thats gonna run a little higher than $40....who knows, maybe I'm not picturing it right...

I did the math against the prices I use and came up to $101 (which I would naturally round to $100) for that size property. That is a lot of edging....that is where most of the cost in my figures came from.

Who knows, maybe the truth is between our prices somewhere. I looked at it again, just off the numbers given, the whole property should be done in under an hour.

Now after posting that I went back and read the first post again....it says mow every week but does not state whether or not that the edging would be done every week. If edging was not done every week I would of course adjust the price downward some.

    GrassMaster & Merlin,
Got a question for you. If the property he described were residential, would your prices be the same or lower? Not trying to go head-to-head with anyone or affend you, just curious.
