I will be buying a used walker from my former boss soon. It has approx 14,000 hours on it. I have used it many times in the past and it is still a good machine despite the amount of hours on it. Do you guys think that about 1000- 1200 $ is a fair price for this machine? Also i will be cutting 20- 25 lawns a week with it, do you think it will hold up?

seems like alot of hours for machine as complex as a walker. I like buying old stuff and fixing it up but I guess I'd need to see this. Sounds like a lot of $$$.

i am willing to put 1000-2000 $ into it which is still pretty good because when it is all said & done i would still only be paying between 2000 & 3000 for a walker.

what type of walker is it? if its a 16 hp that doesent bag it too much, if its a 48' ghs with a desiel or fuel injected 26hp it could be a fair price. 14000 seems excessive...what year is it

it's a 42" ghs with a 16 horse. In my experience with it, it bags pertty well.

How many hours is considered "high mileage"? In hours, what is the average life of a Walker?

Again.....are you sure its 14,000 hours?? That mower is not a commercial mower....it's Walker's homeowners version. I would walk away from this unit....fast. For $3000 you can buy a used commercial Walker with less hours.
