What or how much do you charge for eding sidewalks and driveways etc...? Do you charge per linear foot or just labor? Got a big job to do and have no idea what to charge. Also, any suggestions on a good edger?

There was a formula at one time........ .12 cents a foot or something like that.

Honestly I just pray then guestimate based on experience.

If you have no experience, then pray harder and still guestimate based on the above formula.

The price seems to be between 15-25 cents a foot. I think I'll split it down the middle and charge 20 cents a foot. I believe there is roughly 11,000 linear feet of edging to do on this job. I will pray long and hard that we can get it done in a day.

    $2200 for edging?

    Is the edge really overgrown?

    How far over?

Its overgrown at least an inch throughout the entire property. Hasn't been edged since the original install. It was developed in 95-96.

wow, I charge $0.50 / foot. For small jobs, 100- 500 or so feet. then the price goes down after that. Minimum charge also.
