price good? bad?, price in other areas.

    i just picked up a job theres 8 railroad ties need hauled away
    brick 2 course high 8' long
    1 yard top soil
    20 perennials (daylillies,hostas)
    2 fountain grass
    6 dwarf burnning bush
    3 weeping cherry
    2 1/2 yards of mulch
    i'm paying a guy $300 to do the brick and then help me with whatever is left
    materials and labor is $1,450
    i bid $4,500 will be done in 8 hrs. easy
    just wondering how the pricing would be in other areas.

    Too high for me.I'd come in around $1500-$1600.Timewise would be around 4 to 6 hours,with 3 workers total and I'd walk away with $800 for the day.Of course,I'd be buying wholesale though.:)

    job would take 4 hours tops,at $2300, labor an materials should not run no more than $800 dollars .have fun , see ya george

    I would come in around 2000.00-2300.00 on that project. That price seems pretty hIGH. If you get the job great!
