No.... no..... I am was trying to create a real world example using the formula from casualitist (above post). None of the lawns around here are under 30,000 sq ft. Just seeing if what he said was correct. If so then it would mean roughly $5.75 per square foot. The larger the yard the less per square foot. That already includes your profit insurance equipment replacement and everything. But that seems unreasonable.

around here 13 M2 goes for $58.75 - $77.40 depending on the company.
ive looked at 3 big companies price sheets, for some they profit the same for a 10k or a 30k , they just tack on materials.

other says $40 for fert and spray for anything under 10M (cheap!)

    the 3rd (2 million revenue/yr) charge $14/M UP TO 2.5M, $9/M UP TO 5M, $6.50/M UP TO 10M , $4.68/M up to 20M

$30/bag is a crapload. you can get really good 50% scu high iron fert for alot less

You need a license to apply fert that contains pesticides in it, in every state in the U.S. He specified a 4 step program from agway, which contains pesticides in 3 of the 4 steps.
