OK I get 65.00 to 75.00 per yard installed depending on the area it is dumped..farther away the more I charge..this does not include delivery..but does include the mulch.
We pay 32.00 contractors rate for Red, Black, Gold hardwoods. 28.00 a yard for cypress and 23.00 for pine bark. IT seems more expensive here than anywhere else. I charge 75.00 a yard installed with a 200.00 Min. Anything less than that is not worth my time.

I pay $22 per yard for triple ground black mulch. we charge $100 for under 5 yds. and $75 up to 10 yards. anything over 10 yards I charge $65-70 depending on the customer. That is all inclusive mulch and labor. the only other cost is delivery which is generally about $60 for every 10 yards or any amount therein.

If you get a job that's just a yard of mulch you should try to offer it with shrub trimming or some other service.. If you can't, then line up a couple of the same small jobs and do them at the same time..
