What is msrp on 48" Metro walkbehind? Thank you!
2008 price for a 48" Metro would be around $3,199. You may be able to find a 2007 unit for a little less since the 08 pricing has increased.
Any particular reason for the 48" belt drive? Just curious!
Thanks for the reply! While it isn't an '08, I have a chance to buy this mower for $900.
It is 2 years old and has the pistol grips, but has been stored indoors and looks very good. I don't think it has more than 80-100 hours on it. Do you think this is a pretty good deal? I haven't run a belt drive in a while, but it would make a great midsize back up. I may even sell it in the spring!!!
I always feel that buying a used piece of commercial mowing equipment is much more risky than purchasing a used car. You simply never know how the unit was cared for. Customers tend to purchase new equipment because of this fact. They want the piece of mind that the unit is going to work, and if it doesn't, the warranty will take care of the problem.
I feel the same, but can't buy brand new next year. I will look around for the next 3 months!
