is $5800 a decent price for a new 48" Turf Tracer with 19hp electric start and an accelerator catcher ?

I was quoted $5700.00 for the same thing - the catcher.

not that great i would shop around. i would imagine that was a tthp with a 48" deck. i bought a tt 60" with a 23 kaw for $6,000. in april

i got a price for a hustler today he told me 5522
i told him i could get a exmark for 5100. he said he'll have to call the factory and call me back.

he called back 5 min later and said he'll sell me one for 5200
    (hustler that is)

tell him he's over priced. play the game. within 5 min i saved $350 so to speak.

I think it's too much, too. I'm picking up a TTHP 52 (yours has to be a TTHP as well: eXmark does not make a Turf Tracer with only a 48" deck) and paying only 5200 with the Kawasaki 19.

MSRP is not cast in stone. Your dealer needs to come down or explain why he's hitting you that hard.

So my dealer trying to get 5800 for a TT52 isn't all that hot, huh?
Ah, well. I could check out the used (04) tt52 he'll let go for 5400. (17kaw on that one).

Might need to check for other dealers in the area.
