I am curious what you guys charge for hand edging along flower beds, around trees etc.

Do you do per foot or by the hour? Or does that tend to mean the same thing? I am not afraid of charging either. I'd rather warm up my couch with a cold one than under bid and sweat my baguettes off.

I charge 40.00 per Hr for hand edging flowerbed and around trees and I all so
haul off the trimming from the edging. I all so work solo if you have a helper you would want to add his wages in to your est.

If its a new edge i get $1 per foot. $40 per hour is too low.

What do you get cleaning an existing edge? Also do you have a minimum?

Cleaning an existing edge is usually part of lawn care. If its completly filled in i will charge for a new edge. If i can clean it up with a trimmer i usually dont charge and over the course of the first few weeks it is like a new edge. I see it as a way the customers will like that im doing more than the last guy or more than they did and keep me around. Plus the time to cut the edge is built into the mow price.
