Pricing large properties for lawn program

    2nd year doing lawn fert/weed apps looking for some help how to price large properties one is a 2.5acre estate the others are condo complexes wondering if the best way is labor and material and what is the mark up on material and labor in the New York area or should I price it per thousand getting so many differant inputs any suggestions would be appreciated thank you impulse also for aeration and seed to be included

    I have a little different school of thought on this then some people here. My opinion is that wide open areas I will give some discount to not a lot but some. A lot of people will tell you your material cost is the same and it is however I apply with a ride on and can make awesome time with open areas. This will come down to how you apply if it is tank and hose large area is going to catch up to you fast.

    I do a lot of apartments and condos in my area my advice is be careful with these. A lot of mine are subbed to me. They can be vary cut up and a lot of curbs to jump. Also some of my bigger ones I carry one guy with me to bring me bags and blow the side walks off. One thing I did learn from doing these is to keep my smaller hand spreader in the fert hopper for islands and small areas.
