I have the opportunity to bid two large scale completely seperate accounts. Each is approx 45 arces of mowing. What is a good base to charge? You can figure bi-weekly mowing with little to NO trimming, no bagging, wide open areas. It would really be ideal with the big machines I have. The accounts are broken up into approx 8-10 locations within a close prox., and are non-irrigated so growth won't be too bad on biweekly basis.

My main question would be what would you charge per 1,000/sq ft on something like this to make a profit, but also win the bid.

Any help would be appreciated. I realize this is hard to judge, but don't want to come in way to low on this.

In Kentucky, weather I am using my Kubota tractor with the 72 inch bush hog, or mowing with the Kubota ZD21 60 inch cut, I charge $60.00 per hour. per machine. I might even be able to get more, but I never have charged more than $60.00 per hour.per machine.
