I'm just curious what average folks are willing to pay for a stone mailbox. This mailbox will be built for a house that is worth probably about 150,000 to 175,000, so it will be a pretty straight forward mailbox and similar to the one I've included a picture of (I didn't build the one in the pic). Thanks...and, for what it's worth, the job will be in Alabama, in case prices vary somewhat depending on the region of the country.

Not sure mine came with the house.

this house also has one that came with it. :) I'm thinking 200 to 250 bucks for the stone, mortar and cinder block and 2 days labor (even though it might take a hair less) at 700....so, 900 to 1,000 dollars. Am I under bidding a stone mail box?
