how do you know how much to charge per residential yar?
How much do you know what to charge on a residential yard just for mowing, trimming, blowing?
Each yard is a little differant, i have a set min price $30, first find out how much you need to make in order to cover your expenses (time, gas, wear on the equipment, labor cost, profit !) then go look at the yard you;re quoting a price on and estimate how long it will take to mow it, how much trimming ? Edgeing ? then give them give them your estimate, if they accept it great !. but once you give a price you should never go down on that price or the customers will keep trying to get you lower. if you get Every yard you bid on you;re probably quoting to low, so dont worry if they say you;re to high, YOU know what you need to get in order to make a profit. there are always a few customers who will say you're to high no matter what you bid. or they say the last guy did it for less. Stick to YOUR price and do good work, and you;ll have plenty of work
