Being a animal with the shovel....

So I went to a cobbler today and chatted with him for 20 mins...He was thinking for me use a stir up for my right foot.......Also he wants to replace the soul of my boot.

Bets part about it is that he wants to barter the work..

sounds like a win>win for me.

  2. I'll send a pic of my shoe sole after my sausage is cooked. (Grilling outside:) )

It's more and more on my mind as the temps get lower ect..

i've always wondered how the steel bottom boots would do in a digging application. I personally rock slip on steal toe's dr. martens... but I don't dig much anymore, just a lot of pacing.

Since it's too cold for us Nor' Easterly dudes doing any irrigation work, how bout a pic of your boot with the damage?

Does your shovel you're kickin have a wide flat area or a narrow edge? Might as well post a pic of that too!

When you get that boot fixed, post some pics. Mayber the cobbler will let you take some in-progress repair pics.

It'll be something different at least.

  10. Here are my Beans. As you can see I'm a left footed digger. These have just been retired and a new pair came in Monday. I've tried a ton of different shoes but I find these beans twice a year work best for me.
