I am trying to troubleshoot a rainbird rc-1260bi controller. It gets stuck on one zone and will not move to the next zone. My supplier said it is probably the timing motor. I just wanted to double check on here before I proceed. I already replaced the clock(and moved it outdoors) w/ a Hunter Pro-C outdoor clock, but I am going to try to salvage this one and use it somewhere.

The timing motor sounds right but the gear wheel could have a crack. Most of the time a timing motor solves that problem for me.

  3. I replace timing motors 10x over the rapid advance motors....timing motor should do the trick...
